Amanda McArthur

Amanda McArthur has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to present. Amanda began their career as an intern at The Garden Grove Journal in 2007. From 2008 to 2012, they held the role of Stock/Web team at Nordstrom and Writer/Editor at GigstarUK in 2011. During this time, they were also a Writer for The Daily Trojan from 2009 to 2010. From 2012 to present, Amanda has held various roles at Sweety High Media, beginning as an Editorial Coordinator and culminating in their current role as Editorial Director. In between, they have held the roles of Senior Project Manager, Editorial, Project Manager, Content, and Digital Content Manager. In their role as Digital Content Manager, they were responsible for researching, writing, and promoting the Sweety High blog. As Community Engagement Specialist, they moderated the website, reached out to the community, and highlighted upstanding members.

Amanda McArthur attended Troy High School from 2004 to 2008. Amanda then went on to the University of Southern California, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Print and Digital Journalism and Screenwriting between 2008 and 2012. During their time at USC, they also attended City, University of London for Journalism in 2011.
