Nick Hazen has had a varied career in software engineering. Nick began in 2010 with The Macaluso Group, where they developed interfaces with pharmacy benefit systems, insurance adjudication networks, and credit card processing vendors, built data driven sales reporting systems, and designed normalized databases. In 2012, they joined US Signal as a Software Engineer, where they developed PHP based C.R.M and B. In 2014, they moved to SweetLabs, Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer, where they supported and enhanced functionality and scalability of web-based products and collaborated closely with product managers and testers to implement systems that would scale to millions of hits per day. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Good Use as a Principal Software Engineer.

Nick Hazen completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Computer Science from Grand Valley State University between 2009 and 2011. Nick also holds a certification in Intro to Self-Driving Cars from Udacity.
