James Hvisdas

Mr. Hvisdas is responsible for overseeing the construction of Sweetwater’s sugar-production facilities. Prior to joining Sweetwater, Hvisdas served as PAETEC’s Executive Vice President of Operations, where he was responsible for company-wide operations, providing executive oversight of engineering, construction, maintenance, and operation of over 380 telecom switch sites, POP sites, and data centers, in addition to having responsibly for Field Forces, Real Estate/Facilities, Security, as well as Power and Environmental Engineering. Prior to joining US LEC, he spent 10 years at Rochester Telephone/Frontier where he held responsibilities for the Carrier and Central Office Installation groups. He also worked for ETS, Contel ASC, and American Satellite.

Mr. Hvisdas is an enthusiastic member of the Cancer Society of America where he actively participates on the Breast Cancer team “Lady and the Trap.” He raises funds for Second Harvest Food Bank, Human Society of Volusia County, and Sophie Circle, which provides pet food to families that can’t otherwise afford it.
