Matt Kelsay

Matt Kelsay is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience in private equity, serving as a Partner at Sweetwater Private Equity since January 2016. In this role, Matt focuses on restructuring portfolios and executing direct secondary transactions in late-stage venture, growth, and buyout-stage companies, primarily within sectors such as enterprise SaaS, cloud infrastructure, data & analytics, digital healthcare, and healthcare services. Matt also holds board memberships at Group NIRE, a company advancing energy technology, and Biometric Signature-ID, a pioneer in biometric ID verification software. Prior to these roles, Matt founded and served as CEO of Coast Security & Investigations, Inc., providing specialized legal and investigative services. Matt has a Master of Business Administration in Finance from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from California State University San Marcos.
