Matthew Harris

Matthew Harris is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Controller at Sweetwater Private Equity since May 2021, having previously held positions as Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant within the same firm. Sweetwater specializes in investing in high-performing single assets and has successfully closed over 50 transactions while deploying over $500 million into various sectors since its inception. Prior to joining Sweetwater, Matthew worked at PartnersAdmin LLC as an Associate, where outsourced solutions were provided to the alternative fund industry, and at Standish Management, LLC, also as an Associate, focusing on specialized consulting and fund administration services. Matthew's early career includes roles in client services and business analysis internships, alongside leadership experiences as a Student Leader and Student Ambassador. Matthew earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Saint Mary's College of California in 2017.
