Ding Yuan CHEN's work experience started in 2009 as a Student Research Assistant at Academia Sinica, Taiwan, where they worked until 2012. After that, they served in the Republic of China Marine Corps for mandatory military service in 2014. In 2016, they joined KTH Royal Institute of Technology as a Project Student and later became a Research Assistant until 2017. During this time, they worked on various projects. Finally, in 2017, Ding Yuan CHEN joined SweGaN AB as a GaN R&D Engineer, focusing on GaN HEMTs R&D for high-frequency and power applications. Ding Yuan conducted front/back-side processing and characterization of GaN HEMTs and performed measurements related to trapping effects and drain current transients.

Ding Yuan CHEN's education history begins with their secondary education at The Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University from 2006 to 2009. They then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, graduating in 2013.

In 2010, Ding Yuan CHEN had an exchange opportunity to study Physics at the Harbin Institute of Technology for one year. Following this, they participated in an exchange program at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2013, focusing on Electric Engineering.

Moving forward, Ding Yuan CHEN pursued a Master's degree in Nanotechnology at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. They completed this degree from 2015 to 2017. In 2015, they also obtained certification as an AutoCAD 2012 Certified Professional from Autodesk.

Currently, Ding Yuan CHEN is enrolled as an Industrial PhD student at Chalmers University of Technology, specializing in Nanotechnology. It is expected that they will complete their doctoral studies by 2022.
