Derek Borkowski

Derek Borkowski, PharmD, is an experienced pharmacy professional and entrepreneur. As the Founder and CEO of Pyrls, a top drug education and reference tool for clinicians and student-clinicians, Derek has played a pivotal role in software development since January 2020. With a background that includes serving as an Advisor at Swenson Pharmacy Advisors and a Market Pharmacist at Walgreens, Derek has also contributed to clinical product development and innovation at MyMeds. Derek's extensive training includes various Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) across multiple healthcare settings, culminating in a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy. Prior roles also include internships in medical affairs and pharmacy. Derek's strong foundation in pharmacy and leadership reflects a commitment to advancing clinical education and practice.
