Mr. John F. Swinden has been the Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of Swiber Holdings Ltd. since September 2, 2016. Mr. Swinden served as Chairman of Advisory Board - Business Development at Swiber Holdings Ltd. since joining in July 2011 until September 2, 2016. Mr. Swinden co-founded Cal Dive International (now known as Helix) and served in senior key positions at J. Ray McDermott, Oceaneering International Inc. and Horizon Offshore Contractors. He was also President and a co-founder of Maritime Offshore, a marine construction company. He served as Vice President of Business Development, Eastern Hemisphere at Cal Dive International Inc. since December 2007. He also served as Vice President, Commercial & Business Development Eastern Hemisphere of Cal Dive International Inc. since January 2008. He served as Vice President & General Manager of Southeast Asia for Horizon Offshore, Inc., responsible for setting up and running its regional headquarters in Singapore. He previously served as Vice President & General Manager for J Ray Mc Dermott, Offshore Pipelines International (OPI), and Oceaneering International. He has close to 40 years of leadership and industry experience. He has extensive worldwide experience in the offshore oil and gas marine construction industry, with special emphasis on Southeast Asia, the Middle East and South America. He was responsible for setting up a number of joint venture companies including TL Offshore. Mr. Swinden attended St. Mary's College in England and the British Naval Diving School.
