Peter Firth

Co-Founder at Swift Coat

Peter Firth has a wealth of experience in the field of engineering. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Process Engineer at Trion Technology, where they had extensive experience with plasma etch and deposition, as well as diffusion, CVD, and tool design. Peter also had opportunities to play supporting roles in projects involving photolithography, device design, and fabrication facility design. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Arizona State University, where they were a student in Dr. Zachary Holman's group developing a new deposition technique for forming coatings composed of nanomaterials. In 2015, they held a Power MOSFET Design Engineer Intern position at ON Semiconductor. Finally, since 2016 they have been a Co-Founder at Swift Coat.

Peter Firth attended Brophy College Prep from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained their H.S. degree. Peter then attended Arizona State University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. From 2013 to 2015, they attended Arizona State University again and obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Finally, they attended Arizona State University from 2015 to 2018 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering. Peter also holds a Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer (CLAD) certification from National Instruments.
