Brigitte Réthier

SWIFT Director since 2022. Brigitte started her career at the Royal Bank of Canada in Toronto before moving to Dresdner Bank in Germany and subsequently to Commerzbank. She has more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry in a variety of roles such as sales, credit portfolio management, strategic development and sales management.

She is currently Head of Transaction Banking Sales International at Commerzbank, responsible for the distribution of cash management and trade finance products to corporate clients in international locations, managing a team across more than 15 countries. Brigitte holds an MBA from McGill University, a Diploma of Advanced European Studies from the College of Europe and a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa. She speaks French, English, German and Italian.
