Amy Ruiz

Amy Ruiz is a seasoned public affairs professional and co-founder of Swift Public Affairs since January 2024, bringing a wealth of experience in government affairs and communications. Prior to this role, Amy served as Senior Vice President at Strategies 360, focusing on advancing progressive initiatives in Oregon. Notably, Amy was the Communications Director and Deputy Campaign Manager for Oregon United for Marriage, successfully leading campaigns to secure marriage equality. With extensive experience in various leadership roles in local government, including Chief of Staff for the Mayor of Portland, Amy has excelled in managing policy agendas across multiple sectors. Amy began the career as News Editor at Portland Mercury and holds a BA in Communications from Seattle University.
