Marc Whitbread

Marc Whitbread has a strong background in software development. From 2019 onwards, they worked as a Lead Full Stack Engineer at ExciteM, focusing on planning, architecture, code reviews, and hands-on full-stack development using technologies such as AWS, JavaScript (NodeJS, Vue, React), and Git.

Prior to that, from 2015 to 2019, Marc worked at Nest Wealth, initially as a Software Development Engineer and later as a Lead Front-End Software Development Engineer. Marc was responsible for the conceptualization, development, and iteration of B2C and B2B product offerings, working primarily with Angular 1/2 and JavaScript.

Before joining Nest Wealth, Marc worked as a Web Developer at K2 Digital from 2013 to 2015. Marc also held the position of Developer - New Media at The Works Design Communications Ltd. from 2010 to 2013, where they focused on web development.

In 2010, Marc worked as a Web Designer at Invesco Trimark, where they were involved in website development and design, including wireframes and mockups, using HTML/CSS/JSP/ASP/XML.

Marc's early experience includes a role as a Technical Analyst at IBM Canada Ltd. from 2008 to 2009, where they worked on resolving complex hardware and software issues for employees and clients. Marc also built in-depth reports using various data sources and added custom HTML/CSS/JS to improve data display.

Marc Whitbread completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the University of Guelph from 2005 to 2010. During the same time period, they also studied at Humber College and obtained a Diploma in Wireless and Telecommunications Technology.
