Claudia Cassinari

Claudia Cassinari has a diversified work experience spanning over several decades. Claudia began their career at Citicorp Finanziaria SpA in 1986, where they held the position of Financial Control - Budget and Analysis. In 1991, Claudia joined SWIFT as a Senior Instructor - Training, providing training to bankers in various languages across the EMEA region. Claudia then worked as a Project Coordinator for Payments Systems, coordinating the implementation of payments market infrastructures using SWIFT. Claudia later became the Senior Business Manager for EMEA and Latin America, where they achieved significant sales of market infrastructures, including the Sterling settlement system in the UK and the first sale of SWIFTNet services to the Bank of England. In their subsequent role as a Senior Product Manager - Cash Reporting, Claudia successfully positioned and sold the product in major EU commercial banks. Claudia then became the Head of Communications Customer Service at SWIFT, responsible for all internal and external communications related to SWIFT Customer Service. Claudia's next role was as the Head of Payments Market Infrastructures EMEA, where they led a team and successfully sold a new SWIFT resiliency solution for High Value Payments in two major EU countries. Most recently, Claudia held the position of Global Account Director at SWIFT before becoming the Head of Payments Market Infrastructures UKI.

Claudia Cassinari completed their Master's degree in Business and Economics from Università degli Studi di Parma in 1986. Prior to that, they received their Baccalaureat degree in Langues, Philosophie, Maths from Lycée Stendhal de Milan in 1981 and completed their 1ere A degree in Literature from Lycee Francais Charlemagne de Pointe Noire in 1980. Claudia also attended Vlerick Business School in 2006-2007 for a course in Leading for high performance. Additionally, they studied at the American Cooperative School of La Paz from 1976 to 1979, where they completed their 10th grade with a focus on Maths.
