Sophia Xu

Sophia Xu has an extensive work experience beginning in 2007. Sophia started their career as a Management Trainee at Swift and progressively held various positions within the company. Sophia served as a Manager in the Securities department from July 2008 to February 2009, and then as a Senior Manager in New Customers from March 2009 to June 2013. From June 2013 to December 2019, they worked as Director of Corporate in APAC. Following that, they took on the role of Director of Payment Markets in APAC from January 2020 to July 2023. In March 2021, they became the Head of Corporates and Financial Institutions Solution in APAC. Currently, they are the Team Lead for Business Development in China at Swift. Prior to their roles at Swift, Sophia worked as a Supervisor in the Finance Department at Thyssen Krupp from July 2004 to August 2005.

Sophia Xu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance from Fudan University between 1998 and 2002. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in International Economics at the University of Hamburg from 2005 to 2007.
