Vikram Dayal

Vikram Dayal has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Vikram is currently serving as the Innovation AI Platform Principal at Swift since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Solutions Architect at Swift from July 2020 to January 2023, where they were responsible for the architecture and design of supporting systems for Swift messaging applications and also designed the streaming AI interface for anomaly detection.

Before joining Swift, Vikram held the position of Lead Systems Engineer at Swift, where they worked on messaging strategic architecture from July 2019 to July 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Lead Systems Engineer for Tech Roadmap at Swift for an extended period from April 2005 to July 2019. In this role, they developed solutions in the area of secure messaging, evaluated technologies for the company, and worked on high availability, high throughput, and highly secure messaging systems.

Before their tenure at Swift, Vikram worked at Avman Systems, Inc. as a Co-Founder from July 1998 to January 2005. During their time there, they played a crucial role in building and developing the web-based Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tool called Right Reporter. Vikram also co-founded the company and successfully merged the product with Kautilya, an Enterprise Reporting (ER) tool.

Earlier in their career, Vikram worked at MCI as a Consultant from July 1996 to August 2001. Vikram was part of the Middleware group called "Registry" and designed and developed solutions in Error Monitoring and Stats Monitoring for a large number of workstations connecting via the Registry middleware.

Prior to MCI, Vikram worked as an Account Manager at Covansys from February 1988 to March 1996. In this role, they served as a consultant for SWIFT and Unisys Corp. and received an award for outstanding contribution to the growth of the Washington DC region.

Vikram's career started at Tata Unisys in July 1985, where they worked as a consultant for various companies in the area of materials and A-Series. Vikram also worked at TSG Consultants Pvt Ltd as a Consultant from 1982 to 1985. Before that, they served as a Consultant with TSG at Mahindra & Mahindra from May 1982 to December 1983.

Vikram'sfirst professional experience was as a Management Trainee at Molins of India, where they began their career in 1980.

Vikram Dayal completed their B. Tech in Aero at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur from 1975 to 1980. Prior to that, they attended St. Xavier School - Delhi from 1965 to 1975, where they received their HSC in Science/Engineering Drawing. In 2013, they obtained additional certifications in Machine Learning and Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1 from Coursera.
