Max Kelly has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as Board Director for the Chemistry Development Board at the University of Oxford in 2013. In 2008, they Co-Founded Last Second Ticketing Ltd, where they were a Board Director and then an advisor until the company's exit in 2014. In 2015, they joined Techstars as Senior Vice President Strategy, Board Director, Vice President Innovation, and Managing Director, where they ran the Techstars London accelerator for three years, investing in 33 companies and raising and running the Techstars London 2016 LLP fund. In 2018, they became a Board Director for SwiftComply, and in 2020, they joined The Nature Conservancy as a Consultant, creating the global strategy with the Director of Portfolio Management and writing the business plan with the Director of the Agility Lab. In 2021, they became a Board Director for the Nested Minds Network, and in 2022, they became a Consultant for Lifebit, developing the global strategy, and a Consultant for 180 The Strand and DAZED Magazine.
Max Kelly received their Chemistry degree from the University of Oxford between 1989 and 1993. Max then went on to receive a Masters in Management from ESSEC Business School between 1993 and 1995, followed by a Masters in Management from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in 1995. Max also attended Canford at an unspecified time.
