Scott Koenig

Scott Koenig has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Scott currently holds the position of Director of Business Development and Compliance at Swiftships since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Security Assistance Analyst at the Defense Security Cooperation Agency from August 2019 to April 2022. Scott also served as an Analyst at the Congressional Research Service from March 2018 to April 2019.

Before joining these organizations, Scott worked as a Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State from April 2007 to December 2017. During their tenure, they held multiple roles, including Foreign Affairs Officer, Political-Military Affairs Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Jordan, and Special Assistant to the Ambassador at the U.S. Embassy in India. Furthermore, Scott pursued Political and Economic Tradecraft, Spanish, and Arabic studies at the Foreign Service Institute from 2007 to 2012. In 2016, they attended the Defense Security Cooperation Agency for Security Cooperation Management Executive education, although they did not obtain a specific degree.
