Sixteen people drown every day in Vietnam; over half of whom are children. Swim Vietnam trains swim teachers, builds pools, and provides free survival swimming and water safety lessons, giving Vietnamese children a skill that could save their life. Swim and survive programs work – rates of drowning are 90% lower in children that have completed these programs than in the general population. We’ve helped thousands, but there’s still work to do, including advising the government on a national water safety plan. With your support we can teach even more children to swim and survive.
