Avi Shua

Avi Shua is a seasoned technology leader and entrepreneur, currently serving as the Chief Innovation Officer and CEO & Co-Founder of Orca Security since 2019. At Orca Security, the focus is on providing comprehensive cloud security visibility solutions through innovative SideScanning™ technology. In addition to the roles at Orca, Avi is a member of the YL Ventures Insiders Network, sharing expertise to bolster Israeli startups. Prior to these positions, Avi spent over a decade at Check Point Software Technologies in various leadership roles, including Chief Technologist in Threat Prevention, overseeing multiple complex projects and a large team of developers. Avi's career began in the Israel Defense Forces, where impactful contributions were made in software development and team leadership. Avi holds a BSc in Computer Science and Philosophy from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
