Michael Puttinger

Michael Puttinger is an experienced project engineer currently with Swimsol GmbH, specializing in floating solar plants and renewable island solutions since October 2020. In addition, Michael serves as an international project manager for Sekem Energy GmbH and is the founder of wind-driven.com. Previous roles include sales advisor at Solbian Energie Alternative Srl, renewable energy consultant for UNIDO, and regional renewable energy consultant at e7 energy innovation & engineering. Michael also supported academic initiatives as a student assistant at the Institute for Electricity Economics and Energy Innovation at TU Graz. Michael holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in electrical engineering and economics from Technische Universität Graz and participated in an exchange program focused on renewable energies at The City College of New York.
