James Chung

James Chung is an experienced professional in information governance, risk, security, and assurance with a comprehensive background in IT risk management. Currently serving as the Senior Manager for Information Governance Risk, Security & Assurance at Swinburne University of Technology since March 2017, James is responsible for the development and maintenance of IT operational and technical risk profiles and leads the execution of the IT Risk and Control Self-Assessment process. Prior to this role, James held various positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from March 2011 to March 2017, focusing on IT Governance in Risk, Audit, and Assurance, including acting managerial roles. Earlier experience includes cybersecurity positions at CSC, where James held Australian Government Clearance, and technical support roles at Elan IT and Nortel Networks.
