Sarathi K.

Sarathi K. has a strong background in data engineering and data warehouse development. Sarathi has held various roles in different companies over the years.

Starting in 2000, Sarathi worked as a Database Analyst at Quantum Technologies. From 2002 to 2008, they were a Datawarehouse Database Administrator at the Florida Department of Education, where they built a data warehouse and implemented ETL architecture.

In 2009, Sarathi worked as a Consultant at CEO Training and IT Solutions. Sarathi then joined the University of Western Sydney in 2010 as a Datawarehouse Developer, where they designed and developed a data warehouse using Agile and Kimball methodology.

From 2012 to 2013, Sarathi worked as a Solutions Developer at Glencore Copper, where they developed a finance data model and set up a dashboard using Oracle technologies. Sarathi then moved to Bankwest in 2013 as a DW Specialist for a brief period.

From 2013 to 2016, Sarathi worked at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank as a Senior Data Warehouse Developer and Technical Lead, working on projects such as Basel II and Interest Rate Risk Banking Book automation.

In 2018, Sarathi joined RMIT University as a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer, where they worked on projects like Contact Tracing and Hyperion Essbase decommissioning. Sarathi then became a Senior Data Warehouse Developer at RMIT, where they integrated multiple source systems and migrated data to Oracle DataMarts and Workday Adaptive Insights.

Currently, Sarathi K. is a Team Lead Data Engineer at Swinburne University of Technology, starting in 2023.

Sarathi K. holds a Masters degree in Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney, which was obtained between 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, Sarathi K. completed a B.Com. degree in Business from the University of Mumbai between 1993 and 1996. Additionally, Sarathi K. has obtained several certifications including Amazon Web Services' AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate in 2023, IBM Cognos Framework Model - Design Metadata Models from IBM in 2012, and various other certifications in the fields of data warehousing, database administration, and information security management from reputable institutions such as Kimball Group, Microsoft, Oracle, and more.
