Professor Simon Ridings has been a Deputy Vice-Chancellor at Edith Cowan University, the University of Canberra and Curtin University with a focus on global engagement.

Simon has held academic and executive leadership roles in both business and health sciences faculties, and he holds a PhD from the University of Queensland.

An experienced executive, Simon has devised, developed and managed innovative education partnerships across sectors.

He has been at the forefront of collaborative and commercial developments in dual-sector delivery, higher education pathways, service procurement and partner performance management.

He is presently President-elect of the sector's largest professional body – the International Education Association of Australia – and is an experienced board member and company director of numerous education enterprises.
