Stephen Huxley

Stephen Huxley is an experienced academic and professional in the fields of communication design and digital media, currently serving as the Department Chair at Swinburne University of Technology since 1999. Huxley has held multiple leadership positions, including Acting Dean of the School of Design, Head of Digital Media Design, and Director of the Swinburne School of Film and Television, with key responsibilities in course reaccreditation and compliance with the Australian Qualifications Framework. Prior to this, Huxley was a writer for Desktop magazine from 1997 to 2007, focusing on strategic thinking and design effectiveness, and served as Creative Director at Zone Design from 1990 to 2005.
