Thaqi U. is an experienced professional in cyber security and information technology, currently serving as the Manager of Cyber Security Operations at Swinburne University of Technology since August 2021, following roles as a Senior Cyber Security Specialist and Cyber Security Specialist. Prior to this, Thaqi held the position of Manager of Cyber Security and Risk at AMES Australia from April 2019 to July 2021, along with experience as an Information Technology Security Consultant at A2Z IT Care pty Ltd and a Senior IT Security/Infrastructure Engineer at Abu Dhabi National Chemicals Company (ChemaWEyaat). Thaqi's career began with roles at Middlesex University (Dubai Campus) as Information Technology Lead and Computer Engineer, alongside positions at companies such as Lucid Networks, AT&T, and Canara Digital Systems.
