Kurt Young

Kurt Young is an experienced construction professional currently serving as Superintendent at Swinerton since July 2015, overseeing significant projects such as John Muir Health's interior renovations and upgrades at Stanford Medical and Kaiser Fremont. Prior roles include Assistant Superintendent on the Benioff Children’s Hospital project and Senior Project Engineer for various notable initiatives at Kaiser Permanente and Stanford Health Care. Kurt's career also includes positions as a Project Engineer/Estimator at Cahill Contractors and as an Estimating Intern at Tricorp Hearn Construction. Beginning in the construction field as an Estimator/Laborer at D&Y Doors and Millwork, Kurt Young holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from California State University-Sacramento, earned between 2009 and 2014.
