Julia Thomson-Philbrook is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various roles related to education, coaching, and nonprofit coordination. Currently serving as the Internship Coordinator at Swing Blue Alliance since October 2021, Julia focuses on recruiting and training interns. Julia also works as a Coach at RAW Fitness Colorado, applying knowledge as a PN 1 certificate holder to help clients improve their relationship with food. Previous positions include External Relations Coordinator at Partners In Health, where Julia coordinated visits to a hospital in Haiti, and teaching roles at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and the University of Connecticut, covering subjects in political science and related fields. Julia's career also includes legislative roles, such as Legislative Analyst for the Connecticut General Assembly. Julia holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy & Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, both from Concordia University.

Swing Blue Alliance
Swing Blue Alliance is Massachusetts’ largest grassroots organization of its kind, relying on an entirely volunteer workforce to achieve its goals. Our efforts are strategic and thorough and we research the results to validate the effectiveness of our methods. We’re committed to protecting our democracy, working on competitive local and national elections, and expanding and strengthening the Democratic party at the grassroots level. In collaboration with our state partners, volunteers engage in activities like phone banking, sending vote by mail applications, and voter education to influence Democratic elections and combat voter suppression across the United States.
