Jarvis Jones has a diverse work experience history. Jarvis started their career at the Birmingham YMCA in 2014, where they worked as a Sports Coordinator until December 2018. Jarvis then took on the role of Regional Sports Director until December 2019. In 2019, Jarvis joined Apple, where they held various positions, including Technical Specialist, Business Experience CE, Technical Expert, and People Operations Planner. Jarvis worked at Apple until 2022. In the same year, Jarvis also worked as a Grassroots Community Organizer at Swing Left and as an Organization Project Manager at the Collegeville Neighborhood Association in the City of Birmingham.
