Ryan Schaul

Ryan Schaul has a long and varied work history. In 2021, they were an Engineering Manager at SwipeSense Inc., where they owned the backend and frontend for the Analytics team, managed 3 senior engineers, and collaborated on a new Product to Engineering workflow. Ryan also instituted a new continuous education plan for engineers. In the same year, they were the Co-creator and Software Engineer for Beekeeper and API-Q, and they wrote the primary technical white paper for Beekeeper. In 2020, they were the Co-creator and Software Engineer for Seal Bin, a simple clone of requestbin, and they hosted the application on a single Digital Ocean droplet. In 2013, they were the Founder and CEO of Transparentrees, where they raised $1.1 million and was a Chicago TechStars finalist. In 2011, they were a Digital Strategy Manager at Rise Interactive, where they were recognized by the CEO with a one-to-one mentoring period. In 2010, they were an Attorney at Pircher, Nichols & Meeks, where they specialized in commercial real estate contract law.

Ryan Schaul attended the University of Chicago Law School from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (JD). Prior to that, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.).
