Karen Leipart

Karen Leipart, Ph.D. has extensive experience in talent management and human resources. Karen currently serves as the Head of Talent Management Programs at Swire Coca-Cola, USA, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this, they were the HR Executive/Division HR Leader at Coca Cola from May 2017 to August 2022. In 2022, they also became a Member of the Board of Trustees at Arizona Food Marketing Alliance. Before joining Swire Coca-Cola, Karen worked at Banner Health as the Senior Executive HR/Chief HR Officer from August 2016 to April 2017. Karen also held various leadership roles at Johnson Controls, including Executive Director of Global Integrated Talent Management, Regional HR Director for North America, Director of Global HR Operations, and Regional Human Resources Director for the Americas-Global Workplace Solutions. In these roles, they were responsible for strategic talent management, HR business partnering, policy and procedure development, and managing HR operations.

Karen Leipart, Ph.D. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science with a focus on Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of Arizona in 1992. Karen later pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Arizona State University and a Master of Science (MS) in Human Resources Development from Villanova University. Karen then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Northcentral University. In addition to their academic achievements, they hold various certifications including being an accredited coaching professional by the International Coaching Federation and being certified as a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR®) by both the HR Certification Institute and the Human Resources Certification Institute. Karen also obtained the SPHR certification from the Human Resource Certification Institute and is a Registered Nurse accredited by the State of Arizona Nursing Association.
