Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Swire Renewable Energy since September 2022, leading a company specializing in wind turbine inspection and maintenance services across multiple countries. Alongside this role, Ryan holds the position of Executive Chairman at BladeInsight, which focuses on drone inspection services and blade data management for wind turbines. Previously, Ryan had a long tenure at Swire Pacific Offshore where roles included Commercial Director, General Manager for various regions, and Managing Director across several subsidiaries, managing significant commercial and operational responsibilities. Additionally, Ryan contributed as Chair of the Board of Trustees for New Destiny Orphanage Trust in Cameroon and has experience in commodities trading with Unison Pacific Limited. Education includes an Advanced Management Programme from INSEAD and dual degrees in Law and Commerce from the University of New England.
