Shishir Gautam

Shishir Gautam currently serves as the Fleet Efficiency Manager at Swire Shipping since May 2023. Prior experience includes a 20-year tenure at Maersk Line, where roles spanned from Junior Engineer to Application Support Manager within the Center of Excellence team, focusing on ship manager application procurement and delivery. Additional responsibilities included Senior Vessel Performance Manager and Vessel Performance Manager, providing guidance on main engine and hull performance optimization for Maersk Line and time charter vessels. Shishir began a career as Chief Engineer and Second Engineer, overseeing maintenance and operations of various machinery onboard vessels. Shishir holds an MBA in Operations Management and Supervision from SP Jain Institute of Global Management and a degree in Maritime Studies from Singapore Polytechnic.
