Sacha Verrier

Sacha Verrier is a Senior Data Engineer at Preply since July 2023, with extensive experience in data science and engineering roles. Prior to this position, Sacha worked at Adevinta from October 2018 to July 2023, where responsibilities included leading the Personalisation team, implementing a real-time content ingestion system, and transitioning from monolith to microservice architecture. Sacha's earlier experience includes roles as a Data Scientist and Data Engineer at Affini-Tech, where Sacha focused on big data, machine learning, and data pipeline creation. Sacha’s technical skills encompass a range of languages and tools, including Spark, Python, Java, and AWS. Sacha holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in telecommunications engineering from Grenoble INP - UGA and has completed an exchange program in computer science at the University of Melbourne.
