Thomas Odermatt

Thomas Odermatt has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Thomas is currently employed at Swiss Automotive Group AG, where they hold the position of Head Group Reporting & Consolidation since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as a Group Controller from May 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Swiss Automotive Group AG, Thomas worked at KPMG Switzerland, starting in October 2016. During their time at KPMG, they held multiple roles, including diplom. Wirtschaftsprüfer/Assistant Manager from October 2020 to March 2021, Senior Audit Corporate from October 2018 to September 2020, and Assistant Audit Corporate from October 2016 to September 2018.

Thomas also gained experience at Gamo Leasing AG as a Kundenberater from July 2012 to August 2013, and at Schweizer Armee as a Motorfahrer from July 2010 to April 2011.

Their early career started with an apprenticeship as an Automechaniker at Pargger AG Garage, which lasted from August 2006 to July 2010.

Thomas Odermatt began their education in 2006 at BWZ Nidwalden, where they pursued a degree in Automechanics, completing their studies in 2010. In 2011, they attended BWZ Obwalden, where they obtained a Gewerbliche Berufsmaturität. From 2013 to 2016, Thomas studied at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Controlling & Accounting. Recently, from 2016 to 2020, they attended EXPERTsuisse and obtained an eidg. dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer degree.
