Roman Studer

Roman Studer has extensive work experience in various fields. Roman currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Swiss Banking - Schweizerische Bankiervereinigung since August 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Lecturer at the University of St.Gallen since 2013.

Roman has also worked at UBS, where they served as the Managing Director and Head Governmental Affairs Switzerland from 2018 to 2023. Before that, they were a Governmental Affairs Advisor at UBS from 2011 to 2018.

Roman Studer has also held positions at UBS Center for Economics in Society as the Chief Operating Officer from 2012 to 2018. Roman gained experience as an Assistant Professor at the London School of Economics from 2009 to 2011. Roman has also worked as a Management Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group from 2006 to 2009. Furthermore, they have served as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford from 2004 to 2007.

Roman Studer earned a Master of Science degree from the University of Oxford in 2003. Roman then pursued a PhD at the same institution, completing it in 2007.
