Alessandro Degano

Alessandro Degano is an experienced professional in the field of software engineering and operations, currently serving as Team Lead and System Engineer at Swiss Data Science Center since December 2020. Previously, Alessandro worked as a Dev/Ops engineer at Pix4D from February 2018 to November 2020, and as a Dev/Ops engineer consultant at Antaes Consulting for a brief period in late 2016. Notably, Alessandro contributed to the CMS Software Development Toolkit team at CERN from January 2014 to September 2016, where responsibilities included integrating external software packages for the collaboration's data reconstruction and analysis needs. Alessandro holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Software Engineering and multiple degrees from Università degli Studi di Torino, including a Master's Degree in Experimental Particle Physics and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics.
