Sergei Aschwanden

Sergei Aschwanden is an experienced professional in sports management and local governance, serving as Député for Etat de Vaud since 2017 and as Président of Vaud Générations Champions since 2022. Involvement as a member of the executive committee for Swiss Olympic began in January 2021, alongside a role as adviser at Sports Management School since December 2020. Sergei has been the Président of Swiss Judo & Ju-Jitsu since June 2020 and has held the position of Directeur général for the tourist association at Villars-Diablerets since October 2013, overseeing sports centers and tourism strategies. Previous athletic experience includes competing as a high-level athlete in Swiss Judo and Ju-Jitsu from 1996 to 2008. Sergei holds a Master's degree in Sport Management from the University of Lausanne, completed in 2013.
