Dr. Konstantin Tiemann Ll.m.

Dr. Konstantin Tiemann, LL.M. has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the legal and compliance field. Since October 2021, they have been serving as the Head of Group Legal & Compliance, Group General Counsel, and Group Chief Compliance Officer at SWISS KRONO Group. Dr. Konstantin also holds the position of Head of Group Compliance / Group Chief Compliance Officer since October 2019, and as the Geschäftsführer / Managing Director of SWISS KRONO Tec GmbH since August 2020.

Prior to joining SWISS KRONO Group, Dr. Tiemann worked as the Managing Director Corporate Compliance / Group Chief Compliance Officer at EQS Group from January 2019 to May 2019. Before that, they served as the Chief Executive Officer / Geschäftsführer at KERBEROS Compliance Management Systeme from February 2018 to December 2018.

From October 2016 to December 2018, Dr. Tiemann worked as a Director at Bernstein Group. Prior to that, they held key positions at Deutsche Bahn, where they served as the Head of Group Executive Board Office responsible for Compliance and Legal Affairs from October 2012 to October 2016, and as the Deputy Head of the Department for European Affairs from May 2008 to October 2012.

Dr. Tiemann began their career as the Manager for Political Affairs at Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie e.V. from July 2006 to May 2008. Their extensive experience in legal and compliance leadership roles has made him a valuable asset in these fields.

Dr. Konstantin Tiemann, LL.M. has a diverse education history. Dr. Konstantin earned a Maitrise en Droit from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne from 1996 to 2000, focusing on Recht (law). Dr. Konstantin then pursued an Erstes Staatsexamen in Recht from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from 2000 to 2003. In 2003 to 2005, they obtained a Zweites Staatsexamen in Recht from Land NRW. Dr. Tiemann also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Recht from the University of Cologne from 1996 to 2000.

In addition to these degrees, Dr. Tiemann has obtained certifications in specific fields. Dr. Konstantin received a certification as a Zertifizierter Datenschutzbeauftragter (certified data protection officer) from TÜV Rheinland Akademie in April 2019. Dr. Konstantin also obtained a certification as a Zertifizierter Geldwäschebeauftrager (certified money laundering officer) from TÜV Rheinland Akademie in December 2017.
