Frank Gössi

Frank G. possesses extensive experience in the field of gas turbine development, specializing in combustor validation. Currently serving as a Combustor Validation Specialist, Resource Manager, and Project Manager at Ansaldo Energia Switzerland since February 2016, Frank leads R&D projects focused on combustor development. Prior to this role, Frank worked at Alstom Power from February 2007 to February 2016, where responsibilities included Project Manager for gas turbine R&D, project lead for combustor validation, and Development Engineer specializing in cooling and heat transfer numerical simulation. Frank holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Aerospace Engineering from the same institution, along with academic experiences at UC Santa Barbara and ETH Zürich.
