Somer Tetik

Somer Tetik has a solid background in information technology and cybersecurity. From 2014 to the present, they have been working at Swiss Life, initially as a Lead Domain Architect, then progressing to the role of Information Technology Security Architect and Deputy Head of IT Security. Currently, they hold the position of Head Cyber Security Architecture and Deputy CISO for Switzerland. Prior to their tenure at Swiss Life, Somer worked at dynawell ag as an Information Technology Engineer/Consultant from 2011 to 2014. Their earlier experience includes a role as an Information Technology Specialist at Rhätische Bahn AG from 2007 to 2010.

Somer Tetik has a diverse education history. They earned an Executive MBA in Business & IT from TUM School of Management and University of St.Gallen from 2023 to 2025. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Advanced Studies in Information Security from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they received a Certificate of Advanced Studies in IT Management & Agile Transformation from the same institution in 2016. Earlier in their academic journey, Somer earned a dipl. Techniker HF, IT Services Engineer degree from TBZ Technische Berufsschule Zürich Höhere Fachschule from 2010 to 2013. They started their education with an Informatiker/in EFZ Fachrichtung Systemtechnik degree from WISS Schulen für Wirtschaft Informatik Immobilien from 2004 to 2008. In terms of certifications, Somer obtained the Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft in 2014 and the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from TÜV SüD in 2013. They also hold the Cisco Certified Netzwerk Associate Security (CCNA) certification from Cisco Networking Academy, obtained in 2009. Recently, in 2022, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert and Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate certifications from Microsoft.
