Daniel Bodmer has extensive experience in finance and controlling within the sports and event management sectors. Currently serving as Leiter Controlling at Swiss Olympic since July 2022, Daniel also operates as Inhaber und Geschäftsführer at org4events GmbH, focusing on event organization, finance, and project controlling since October 2017. Previous roles include Head of Planning & Coordination for the Winteruniversiade 2021, where responsibilities encompassed project controlling, financial processes, and operational readiness, as well as Head of Controlling & Finance for the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships St. Moritz 2017. Daniel's career also features positions as Leiter Finanz- und Rechnungswesen at Support Engadin St. Moritz AG and Business Unit Controller at Comet AG, alongside various roles in controlling and finance since 1991. Daniel’s academic credentials include a CAS in Accounting and Controlling from ZHAW School of Management and Law and a certificate in Sports Management from the Swiss Sport Management Center, among other qualifications.

Swiss Olympic ist eine Non-Profit-Organisation mit einem Jahresumsatz von rund 55 Millionen Schweizer Franken (Jahr 2017). Darüber hinaus verbreitet und verankert Swiss Olympic die olympischen Werte Excellence, Friendship und Respect in der Gesellschaft und setzt sich für einen gesunden, respektvollen, fairen und erfolgreichen Schweizer Sport ein.
