Carli Jacobs

Carli Jacobs is an experienced executive in the insurance industry, currently serving as CEO of Swiss Re Africa and Head of Life & Health for the Middle East and Africa, a role held since May 2018. Prior to this, Carli held various leadership positions within Swiss Re, including Head of Life & Health and Head of P&C for Southern Africa. Previous experience includes serving as Head of Broking at Guy Carpenter, Head of Reinsurance at Mutual & Federal, and a Deal Maker at RMB Structured Insurance. Carli's career began as an Analyst at Natsure and a Divisional Director in Analytics at Willis Re, along with an earlier position as an Actuarial Consultant at NMG Consulting. Carli holds a BSc in Financial Mathematics and Actuarial Science from the University of Pretoria.
