Colin Bannister

Colin Bannister is an accomplished actuarial professional with extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Currently serving as Director and Senior Vice President, Chief Actuary for Canada (Life & Health) at Swiss Re since September 2014, Colin has previously held the position of Vice President, Senior Risk Actuary at the same company. Prior to joining Swiss Re, Colin worked at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, where responsibilities included serving as Executive Director & Actuary for International Valuation and as an Actuary from December 2004 to August 2014. Colin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Kent, earned from 2001 to 2004.
