Esther Baur

Esther Baur is an established leader in the public sector solutions domain, serving as the Head of Public Sector Solutions for Europe and adjacent Mediterranean countries at Swiss Re since 2007. In this role, Esther Baur also leads global public sector health initiatives. Previously, Esther Baur held the position of Head EMEA for Global Partnerships, focusing on public sector business origination and collaboration with development institutions across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Esther Baur's expertise in communication and strategy was demonstrated in the role of Head of Issue Management & Messages, managing thought leadership and stakeholder engagement, including contributions to the World Economic Forum. Prior to 2007, Esther Baur worked at Swiss Re as a Senior Strategy Manager and Senior Economist. Educational credentials include a CFA in Finance from the CFA Institute and a degree in Economics specializing in Public Finance and Development Economics from the University of St. Gallen.
