Han Chen

Han Chen is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Head of Specialty Solution for China and the Global Head of Agriculture Solution at Swiss Re since March 2019, with prior roles including Senior Agriculture Underwriter and Agriculture Solution Lead. Han's expertise in agriculture solutions is complemented by experience in quantitative analysis within asset management and catastrophe risk models for China's agricultural exposures. Earlier experience includes an internship at the Development Research Center of the State Council focused on community development for national parks. Han holds a PhD in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture from Tsinghua University and has studied agronomy at the University of California, Davis, among other institutions.
