Philip Walker

Prior to joining Swiss Re, Philip Walker established a long track record in delivering financial products and services through electronic channels. He led the development of the medical records and predictive analytics underwriting business at Envera Health. From 2012 to 2015 he served as Managing Director at Paradigm Partners in California, an M&A and strategic consulting firm for insurers, insurance distributors and private equity companies.

In 2004, Philip was a co-founder of Heritage Union Life Insurance Company, a company which was set up to sell affordable term life insurance to mid-market consumers through electronic channels. From 1998 to 2004, he was a director for Capital One, leading the Enterprise Supply Services, and prior to that, E-Commerce Marketing and Operations.

He began his career with Thomas Cook Group as a foreign exchange dealer in Toronto before taking over managerial roles as a Regional Development Manager and Director of Strategy.
