Latoya Samuels is a dedicated health and safety professional with extensive experience in occupational health and safety roles. Currently serving as a Health and Safety Officer at Swiss Water Decaffeinated Coffee Inc., Latoya provides support for the Joint Health and Safety Committee, ensures compliance with BC regulations, and collaborates with staff to maintain safety standards. Previous positions include Occupational Health and Safety Advisor and Health & Safety Generalist at Pacific Safety Consulting Group Inc., and Safety Officer at Petrojam Limited, where responsibilities encompassed training, policy development, site inspections, and incident investigations. Latoya also served as a Human Resource Assistant at The University of the West Indies, where tasks included indoor air quality assessment and employee relations support. Latoya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health from The University of the West Indies, Mona, and an Associate's degree in Art/Art Studies from Meadowbrook High School.
