Serge Hofmann

Serge Hofmann has extensive work experience in the banking and financial industry. Serge is currently the Chief Credit Officer/Head Credit Risk Management and Chief Data Officer at Swisscard AECS GmbH. Prior to this, they held various roles at BANK-now, including Chief Credit Officer & Sector Head Quantitative Risk Management, Sector Head Risk Analytics & Models, Team Head Risk Analytics & Models, and Credit Risk Analyst/Modeler. Serge also worked as a Business Analyst at Credit Suisse and had a summer internship at the same company. Additionally, they gained experience as a Work Student at IBM and held positions as Server Operations Manager and Server Engineer at UBS.

Serge Hofmann's education history includes a range of degrees and fields of study. Serge first attended the University of Zurich from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics. After this, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Economics at the same university. In 2011, while still studying at the University of Zurich, they attended the University of Copenhagen for a short period to further their studies in Economics. In 2012, they also pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Economics at Tsinghua University. Prior to their academic pursuits, from 2001 to 2005, Serge completed an apprenticeship at UBS, focusing on Information Technology, which granted him the title of System Engineer.
