Jolanda M. Walker

Jolanda M. Walker, MSc, DAS, currently serves as the Group Head of Emergency and Crisis Management at Swisscom since March 2019 and as a lecturer (Dozentin) at HSLU Hochschule Luzern since July 2022. Walker has extensive experience in crisis management, having held positions such as Head of Crisis Management and Senior Manager at the Swiss Armed Forces from July 2012 to February 2019, and Delegate with the International Committee of the Red Cross from August 2000 to April 2007, which included various postings in emergency-affected regions. Previous roles also include Global Relationship Manager for Vector Control at Syngenta Crop Protection and a sabbatical focused on the Cambridge Proficiency Exam at Cambridge Assessment International Education. Walker's educational background includes an MSc in International Public Health from the University of London and multiple certificates from ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences in leadership and risk management.
