Marcel Német

Marcel Német is an ICT Application Engineer at Swisscom since January 2017, where responsibilities include designing and building an innovative portal for Conextrade, the leading E-invoicing provider in Switzerland. Previously, Marcel worked as a Developer at Agent Technology Center, creating a customizable bicycle route planner web application, and as an intern at IBM Research Zurich, where efforts improved system security for a multinational electricity provider and explored areas such as web development and machine learning. Marcel's early career includes an internship in the IBM Smarter University Internship program, where a workshop on developing plug-ins for IBM Content Navigator was created and presented, alongside a role as a Junior Technical Pre-Sales Specialist, developing Java and JavaScript plug-ins. Marcel holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Czech Technical University in Prague, along with an Erasmus Exchange experience at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
